BACKGROUND:

The Spirit of Christmas

and

“Operation Iraq: Spirit of Christmas”

On June 15, 2003 (Father’s Day), a neighboring business near the Spirit of Christmas had a serious fire.  Thankfully, there were no injuries, but our precious little shop incurred a substantial amount of smoke damage.  Due to this interruption, The Spirit of Christmas will not be open this season to meet your traditional shopping needs.  However, we have decided to put a positive spin on what has occurred.  We will use this space to headquarter “Operation Iraq: Spirit of Christmas” which will allow us to show some appreciation to the beloved troops who are securing our safety at home in the good old U. S. of A.
